Recently we got to be a part of a wedding at a hidden gem of a place in Kohala called Hawaii Island Retreat. What an amazing location! It’s hidden away on dirt road in Kohala.



It’s a fully sufficient place. They run all power off solar panels and wind mills and the view of the Kohala cliffs and ocean is truly amazing.



The event was a pre wedding luau for this couple from San Francisco. So we decided to do lighting in sunset colors. We used orange, yellows, and reds to create that effect. It came out looking great. We also ran all of the lights off of a generator which held up well. We use only LEDs which draw very little power so it was perfect for a location and situation like this.
