Bridal Fair & Wedding Expo 2013

Join us this Friday from 6 - 9 pm at the 5th Annual Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Bridal Fair & Wedding Expo. This will be our third year at this wedding expo. It is an event I recommend for upcoming newlyweds. It allows you to take a look at vendor services all under one roof thus saving you time. You can also connect with the different vendors to see if they will be the right fit for you. There will also be a wedding fashion show and a chance to win prizes like services from different wedding vendors. We always look forward with a chance to meet face to face with upcoming newlyweds. Stop by and say hi at the Eclipse Effect Entertainment booth if you will be attending. Here are some of our past year booths.

This year we have a greater part in the expo. Since it’s a night time event we will show case our lighting for the fashion show right outside of the Moku’ola Ballroom as well as our booth inside. Please come out and enjoy.

Gig Log: Prom Fashion Show 2013

A couple of weeks ago we got to be a part of the Prom Fashion Show 2013 at the Prince Kuhio Plaza. We were lucky to be a part of this event last year and we knew there were many improvements we could do. Last year was our first attempt at a fashion show. This is what we did.

After this fashion show in 2012 I felt that the set up was nice, but we could have put more lights on the models. This is what we did this year.

The plaza decided that the decor would be the same, so it was up to the lighting to make the event look different. We went with purple and white this year. We also used 4 totems which we lit up which enabled our spotlights to get higher up. Then we used much brighter lights all around. Lastly we used a water effect lighting in white on the area around the sconces. We were happy with the way the lighting turned out this year. The models were lit up well and they looked great in the photos .
