Hawaii Island's Premier DJ & Lighting Company
Hawaii Bride & Groom Magazine Launch Event
12/06/13 03:04 PM
A couple weeks ago we got to team up with Hawaii Bride & Groom once again. It is always a pleasure working with them because not only do their events provide a good time, but working with them we’ve had some of our most challenging designs that turned out really well. One of my favorites lighting designs was while working with them. It’s this full building lighting at Wainaku Center.
This time the event took place in an empty space across the hall from Cafe Pesto. Cafe Pesto was also the host of this event and they do some great catering for weddings and parties. If you like their food and want to have the same style and flavor of cuisine at your party then they are the folks to call. Chef Casey handles the catering for them. This event was for Hawaii Bride & Groom’s launch of their Honeymoon & Travel magazine. A great magazine not only to check out wedding ideas and vendors, but now they provide info and ideas for after the wedding. A magazine that is a great source of info for any bride and groom. For this event we did full room uplighting, pinspots on the table, and we had to bring out the moon design again for fun. It was an unfinished room with the metal showing with open walls so it was a challenge to hide the rooms flaws. We also added orange lighting on the plants to give a slight sunset feel. Orange and blue are opposite ends of the color spectrum, but they worked well together. It was a night time in paradise feel.
